Okay we are heading down Monday March 28th. Getting there mid-late evening time. Going two adults and 3 girls ages : 9yrs, 5yrs and 3yrs old.

Price of package: Staying at DLH - $1414.96. The nights of hotel and three day hopper passes w/Char Breakfast thrown in there.

Doing the parks on Tues/Wed/Thurs.

We are going to do Toontown on Tuesday morning.

Princess Character Breakfast for 9:30am on Wednesday morning.

Fantasyland on Thursday morning.

Places we want to eat: Blue Bayou, Goofy's Kitchen and Rancho del Zocalo.

Things to do: Don't know. Given our girls ages what do you suggest? What rides should we hit first?! When is the best time to do rides and eat? I'd like to off set the crowds but it will be durning Springbreak anyway.

Also, I keep hearing talk about parades and light shows? What times are those? Are there places we can eat and still see the show while eating?

Tons of questions but this trip is now set into high gear and any help would be wonderful.

We were thinking lunches for the main dining due to the cost of the meals.

Help! Help! Help! Please and Thank you to all who do reply :)

The first thing I would do is try to get PS reservations for Goofy's Kitchen and Blue Bayou; I assume you already have one for the Princess Breakfast. Trying these at lunch is a good idea. Not only are these meals usually a little cheaper at lunch time, but its easier to get reservations, and its nice to take a break when the parks are starting to get crowded. I also like making my lunch the big meal of the day on days that I don't have a big breakfast.

The parade schedules are on the Disneyland web site. Fantasmic is twice nightly (9PM and 10:30PM) during this period. It's easier to catch the show at 10:30PM, but that might be a bit late for the little ones. I strongly recommend a nice long nap in the middle of the day, so perhaps you will be able to stay up late.
The electric light parade is scheduled for 8:45. It tends to be easier to get a good spot for the ELP than it is for Fantasmic. I also think the ELP is more enjoyable for the little ones. Fantasmic can be a bit scary for young children.
The firework show is scheduled for 9:25 PM.
Check the website for other shows or schedule changes:

For children your age, you will want to hit the Fantasyland rides early; they will back up fast. Peterpan and Dumbo can get particularly busy. Do try to catch the new Buzz Lightyear Ride in Tomorrowland.
Get to Disneyland early! Be in line before DL opens, and ride as many rides as you can as early as possible; also pick up FastPasses early. By 10 or 11, DL will start getting crowded. Once it does, you might want to hop on over to DCA, which won't be as crowded and doesn't open until later.

It's best to eat a little off-schedule from everyone else. I prefer a light, quick breakfast (muffins, fruit, juice) on the run so eating doesn't interfere with prime ride time (morning). As stated earlier, I usually have a big lunch. I often eat dinner after finding a nice spot to watch the parade or Fantasmic; pick the spot and then send someone to bring dinner back.

It will be crowded, but you'll have a great time!

Thank you for your reply CalGal. I wrote it all down :)

It's the springbreak crazy hectic time but eh.
