I just got home late last night from Disney :sad1:
Seriously, you wait sooooo long to get there and the next thing you know you are already home wondering how you got back here so fast :confused3
On a happier note, I did take advantage of the bounceback rate offered and will be returning to the world on a 40% discount at Wilderness Lodge:cool1:
Total price for 7 nights courtyard view, DDP, and one day base tickets for 2 adts and 2 kids is $2703.60. :woohoo:
Definitely makes it easier to be home knowing I am already booked to go back next Nov. :thumbsup2
Of course, I'm sure I will be posting again to the resorts changers saga post soon enough....It was total overkill with the buses this year and I refuse to get as ill again as I did this year from those "crazy" drivers LOL. So, I'm sure I will be changing to a monorail resort soon enough :rotfl2:

You wouldn't happen to know the dates of the offer that was in your room would you?

The dates on the flyer are 1/3-1/14/10, 1/18-2/11/10, 2/15-3/27/10, 4/11-7/1/10, 7/5-11/23/10 and 11/28-12/24/10.

Someone posted this on another bounceback thread last night.

This year we stayed at Pop Century.
The bounceback dates were numerous:
1/3-1/14/10, 1/18-2/11/10, 2/15-3/27/10, 4/11-7/1/10, 7/5-11/23/10 and 11/28-12/24/10.
Of course, depending on what resort you stay at will determine your percentage off.

Its an ok deal for $2700. You could rent points from a dvc owner in any villa and with a standard view at $10/pt it shouldn't be more than $1200. A 1bd might be closer to $2000. DP is under $800 total.

You mention "one day base" tickets. Does that mean you're only doing one park day? Seven day hoppers would be about 1000. No hop 800.

I, actually, am planning to look into the cost of renting DVC points and, possibly, try Bay Lake this year. (Haven't really thought about WLV)
Any other DVC doesn't interest me...I can't take the buses again...that's why I will probably end up at Poly or CR. At least two of the four parks I can use the convenience of the monorail again. I tried these past two years to venture out into the world, stay at mod and value and actually save myself some serious cash this year but feeling so ill because of the bus rides just isn't worth it to me.
I just booked to lock in the 40% discount as I am not one of the lucky dreamers who get pin codes :confused3
As for the tkts, the kids have annual passes and I am playing with whether or not I want to purchase them again for DH and myself. If not, then I will add days to our tkts after we get to Disney for the two of us.
Who knows, yet, what will happen....afterall, I have 11 months, 3 weeks and 1 day to plan and search out discounts :surfweb: :rotfl2:
Thanks for the info
