Booked Bay Lake Towers!!!

We are so excited. Our home resort is BWV but we were really thrilled to be able to change our Oct. res from BWV to BAY LAKE TOWERS!!! Couldn't believe it was available and points didn't break our bank for a studio. Can't wait.

That bodes well - I am hoping to be able to book at BLT for 1st November. Looks as though there may be availability after all - roll on 1st April

We are booked at BLT Dec.16-23!!!! I know how you feel!!! BWV is a great resort(one of our home ones) we stayed there this past Aug. and we always love it!! But BLT WOW being so close to the MK and literally being almost on MS and seeing the fire works from your own balcony and not to mention the quick trip to and from the MK....hands down the BEST. WOW just talking about it I get soooooo excited!! Enjoy your trip!!! I know I will!!

We changed our early October ressies today as well! We were booked at our home resort of BCV (a perfect base for F & W, we know), and after a little soul searching decided to try to change to BLT. We'd read speculation on these boards that BLT might be more difficult to get into next year and beyond, and we really wanted to try them out, so we went for it. We got BLT with lake view, and were even able to add an extra night. We're very excited about it, and will gladly take the long monorail ride to get to F & W. Truth be told, last year we found ourselves dashing from BCV to get to FW in Epcot for many of the seminars (held at WOL pavillion).

We booked lake view as well, less points. We can go up to the roof to see the fireworks. Also, easy boat access to Fort Wilderness (our home away from home) and Wilderness Lodge (great martinis). So we're good to go. Same here, we thought we'd try it now because in the future it will probably be harder to get in. We are very excited. We will walk to Mickey's Halloween Party and monorail to Food and Wine Festival. And, I'm sure someone is very happy to get our cancelled BWV Boardwalk View room. So good news all around.

I forgot about the boat access to FW. Sorry to say it is one of the resorts that we haven't explored much. Look forward to seeing more of it now we are DVC owners.

Last week DH was successful switching our Sept-Oct trip from SSR to Bay Lake Towers. We got a lake view studio. We were perfectly happy staying at SSR but thought it would be great to try BLT if it was available even if it was a few more points. I'm looking forward to having the monorail, walking to the MK for the Halloween Party, etc as well.

I was wondering if there is an open area beside the top club.

I know the top club is limited in the number of people who can be there so was wondering if anyone has heard how they will be able go there?
