Booked at the Wilderness Lodge!!!

Just booked my next trip to WDW through AAA today.

Got my favorite deluxe resort, the Wilderness Lodge (courtyard view, although am hoping to downgrade to Woods View) for a really good deal. Includes a 10-day park hopper pass. Am holing off on the dining for right now. Was told that if the free dining is offered again next year, I can add it to my package. If it's not, then I can add it to my package and just pay for it. Definitely want to book at least 1 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Food & Wine Festival is going on at the same time. Chose the end of September to the beginning of October, as it's still in value season and should be a bit less crowded.

I cannot wait for this trip!!!! My countdown is at 12 months, but I'm sure it will fly by. This is a belated birthday gift to myself, so I decided to upgrade to the Wilderness Lodge from Port Orleans French Quarter! This also gives me 10 1/2 months to pay off the trip!

12 whole months of plottin', plannin' and dreamin' about a trip to WDW and the WL. Sounds like a grand time to me.
I think I enjoy the anticipation as much as the actual trip.

We usually stay at the CBR but decided to splurge and stay at the Wilderness Lodge next year. We were actually planning our June, 2008 trip while driving home from our June, 2007 trip. Next year's trip will be our 13th trip to WDW in 11 years time.

I love planning early. It gives me lots of time to pay on our vacation. I am a seller on e-bay and every time I sell at least $20.00, I make a payment on our vacation. I've already paid over $1100.00 since August 7th! At this rate, I'll have our vacation paid for and our spending money set aside.

Wilderness Lodge......here we come!
