Hi All ~ I booked all our resorts!

Two nights on the beach!

Four Nights at Universal Studios!

Five Nights at Disney!

Yeah me! S

I'll book Southwest when Spring Break flights come available.

I already booked a rental car thru Alamo. We've tried everyone and like Alamo the best. It doesn't cost anything to book and I frequent the website for deals.

2 nights at Coral Beach Resort in Daytona Beach; two room suite with full kitchen, oceanfront. We have stayed there before and really like it. It has an indoor pool and outdoor pool RIGHT ON THE OCEAN!

Then....

4 nights at Universal Studios Royal Pacific Resort. It's right on-site, walking distance to the parks and City Walk. It's supposed to be like a Disney deluxe resort. We have those cheapy 2park/7day tickets. I bought them over a year ago for $82 when our dollar was AWESOME. With 5 days and 4 nights their, we will do the parks briefly every day....using the FOTL on-site thingy and spend the rest of the time relaxing and enjoying the resort.

Then....

5 nights at Pop Century. We usually stay at a mod....we've done all the mods, with CBR several times. We really like mods, but when visiting the All Star Resorts, I feel we missed out of the TOTAL Disney theme. So off to the Pop for us. We have 10 day hoppers with 6 plusses that don't expire. I bought them at the same time as my Universal tickets thru Undercover with a Mousesaver rate. We also have 3 or 4 plusses from old passes. We will likely only do 2 park days and a couple of water park days, saving the rest of the tickets for 3 future trips; schedule is something like; rest upon arrival day, maybe Universal Studios in the morning before checking in at Disney, MK/DHS the next day, TL and rest the 3rd day, BB the 4th day, AK/MK the 5th day, rest the 6th day and get ready to go home.

Having done A LOT of park stuff in the past, we really enjoy resting vacations at Disney now. We do the "new thing" and old favourites, and skip the less favourite stuff like Bear Jamboree, etc.,. My kids LOVES Epcot, but they are Epcotted-out, so they asked to skip it this trip. We might visit Epcot for a Garden Grill lunch. YUMMY. We would like to visit The Disney Wilderness Preserve http://www.nature.org/wherewework/northamerica/states/florida/preserves/art5523.html , probably on the BB day, since we'll only do about 2-3 hours there.

Those are the details so far. S

Sounds like a great trip!!

I really need to get onto deciding where we want to go next. Feels odd after more then 3 years of having a trip in the planning stages to have nothing on the go right now. I need to bood something so I can have a ticker!!

SandraC: Looks like a great itin. We have also stayed at the same place in Daytona. Nice how it is RIGHT on the beach. And the indoor pool is nice too for cool evenings.

Thanks for posting the link for the Disney Wilderness Preserve. It looks nice. Can you (or anyone else) tell me how to find any additional info. on it? I think we will visit it.

Thanks

The Royal Pacific at Universal is very nice! We stayed there in 2005....very deluxe and beautiful. (yeah and I'm used to value and the occasional moderate at Disney!)

We have stayed at the Royal Pacific in Universal and it is very nice. They have a great pool and you can also use the pools at Hard Rock and Portofino. Staying onsite at Universal is the only way to go...the express pass you get for staying onsite makes it worth every penny...we were there in high season and never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes.

While the RPH is nice , and the FOTL is awsome, we were just as happy at the POP in regards to the room style, size etc. It is nice, but I wouldn't pick it over some other palces I have stayed at.

Yeah Sandra ,,I'm going in March also.
I was going alone and booked my flight already but now it looks like two of my sons want to come also so I'm waiting for SW to open their flights also.
So much for my little trip away --alone.
Your trip itn looks great.
Congrats

Hugs Mel

Hey Sandra, we are heading down in March also. Just waiting for inlaws to book time share (Vistana) We always go down the week before March Break then head home March break, but this year it runs a week laiter.
We will have Dh, DD 20 and her boyfriend all with jobs,DD16 in grade 11 doesn't mind missing school. We drive down and still end up with 6-7 days of Florida sunshine.

I think you will enjoy POP, Sandra. We've been returning there each visit and I can't seem to break the habit. I "know" I'm at Disney when we stay there. I love the fact that you can be in the hustle and bustle of the resort, yet take a peaceful walk along Hourglass Lake.
