Booked a pkg.and room only--got a ?

We booked the Disney Visa Summer Dream Maker pkg. for 3 nights at POFQ but a room only for the first night. We didn't want our UPH to start until the next day--my question is will they make us move to another room??

We are travelling with my parents and they are on a room only fl. resident ressies so I know they won't be moving but, it would be a bummer if they moved us away from them for our pkg. ressie.

We've done the room-only for the first night, starting the package on the second day twice now with no problems. As long as they know that you're staying longer than just the one night you should be fine. You will have to re-check-in on the second day - that's when you'll get all the package info and your keys are magically turned into UPH I think the earliest you can do this is 7am (although you can certainly do it later).

I should mention that the first time we had a slight problem at the first night's check-in. I asked if we would be in the same room and was told no since we had reserved our first night for a standard at POR, the following ones for a king. Out came our travel documents that proved that we had indeed paid for a king room the entire time and after several minutes it was straightened out. So make sure you bring your paperwork, just in case

I don't know for sure, but I have heard it is a possibility. I guess it depends on the time, who checks you in, and the resort. I was told to make sure my package and my room only are linked. (Whatever that means ) I was also told to remind them at check-in that we have both. We are debating changing the room only one though. Depending on where we fly into we may change it to offsite closer to the other airport. Hopefully they will let you stay in the same room
