hey we r booked from 2-6june staying at santa fe!
Anyone recommend any particular room/building we should request to stay in? We will be me and my husband and our 2 year old son. So something where we would be close to main building for bfast or close to the park as we plan to walk it.
And where can i find the telephone number to call for such request? :)
Is breakfast super busy, we r planning to ask for 7.30am slots, and what happens if we dnt manage to make it in time? (Keeping in mind we will have a toddler with us hehe)

Am also planning to book cafe mickey for saturday at 6pm bookijg inclduing a bday cake. How far in advance do i need to book this?

Thanks all ....so excited now :)

The back buildings of Santa Fe are near the walkway to the park. I have done this walk, it takes about 20 minutes, along the river, up to Sequoia Lodge, then past Hotel New York and through Disney Village.

The front buildings of Santa Fe are near the main building, where reception, bar, restaurant and shop are. The luggage room and bus stop to / from the park are beside the main building. There is also a small convenience store, gas station at the entrance to the property.

It depends on what you prefer, to be near the walkway or near the main building. I found this email address on the official website dlp.guest.communication@disney.com you can email but you might not get the building you request.

Breakfast in Santa Fe can be a bit manic due to everyone getting their food first and then finding a table. It might be a good idea for one of you to take your son and find a table, while the other gets some food. Also depending on when you check in and how busy the hotel is, you might not get 7.30am slots for every day of your visit. Just take whichever ones you can and just go to the breakfast room at 7.30am anyway. Sometimes they are not that strict on keeping to the time slots. If you miss your time, dont worry, just still go to the breakfast room. The timeslots are just a way of spacing people out and making sure that you are a hotel guest.

I would give the dining reservation a call and book it now or next week just to make sure. Dining reservations are available 60 days in advance. Most places are ok to be booked the week before you go or even at Town Hall on the day but for the more popular places like Character Dining its always best to book well in advance.

A tip about calling dining reservations. If you are in America ring the number for Walt Disney World in Florida. Ask to be transferred to Disneyland Paris Dining reservations. If they refuse, just hang up and call back to hopefully get a different person, dont let them tell you it is not possible, it is. They just dont know about it or just dont want to do an international transfer.
