Book resort for late flight?

We are offsite due to booking late. Our flight is at 1030 pm and we checkout of our villa at 11. Of course our checkout day has WDW resorts available to book. I was thinking of booking CS so we would have somewhere to go besides park wandering. Im not sure if its worth the $ though.

Check-in at the new place might not be until 3 pm; 4 pm if DVC. If you are taking DME your pickup will be about 7:30 pm. Why not head to a park for the day? Or head over to DS have lunch, catch a movie, shop then have dinner! (Can you tell I really love the dining options at DS?)
