With our upcoming trip in May, we have to book two rooms. Is it better or easier to do that online or by phone?

Call it in. DRC will link them both together.

Also, CMs have booking goals. When you call in a booking it helps them retain their positions.

Will do! Thanks!

Oh! one more thing. Can I call the resort's number or do I have to use the 939-7211 number? (I usually always book online. I feel like such a doof. lol)

for the love of GOD thank you lindy.

though as a side note, if its a room only in WDW then call them, if its a Room only in DL BOOK ON LINE. Room only's at DL actually HURT us

By resort I meant should I call the specific hotel we're staying at. (I'm so sorry for being uncoordinated. I think I got too much sun today lol)

I was going to post the same thing about calling and having the rooms linked together. Also, calling to benefit the CMs is a very good point :thumbsup2. I always price things online and then call to book, but have never thought to mention this as being a benefit for the CMs to reach their booking goals when answering posts about booking online vs calling......so thanks for that reminder Lindy :goodvibes.

Call the regular reservation number. The numbers listed for each individual resort do not go directly to that resort but rather to a call center. They answer the phone as if they are at that resort, but it is actually a call center.

No, you have to phone central reservations. In addition to asking for reservations to be linked, you can put in room requests on your reservation for what area/building you would like, high floor, low floor, etc.

i always prefer to phone to book. I have to phone anyway to put in room requests, so why not book too? Never thought of it benefiting CM, good point. I just prefer to speak with a person.

I always use online for info, then call to book. We were all set to stay at value resort last trip, when I called, we got Coronado Springs for same price. In my opinion, it's always better to call
