Book now or wait?

We need our first two nights in a value and wonder if I should book now just to get the room or wait and book with our AP rate if/when it comes out for end of May?

Historically the AP rate comes out in February.

I would book now then apply the AP rate when it comes out. But that's just me, I like to plan and book way ahead of time just to make sure I get what I want.

I just booked for June in order to get what I wanted. We won't be 100% sure we're going til December, but I would hate if WL would be booked & I needed 4 rooms. Better safe than sorry!!
