Need help from all you SWA experts. We are heading to the world 11/11 to 11/16. right now there is an 'internet fare' of $99 for each way. In the past I have always been able to get a ding for this time, but I know that that is never guarenteed . I guess what I am asking you, the experts, is would you hold out or just book theses fares now and hope for a ding and then pray that I can get my money refunded? (I already have a $70 credit to use...don't want to keep honding onto credits)

Any help or advice would be great. By the way we are flying out of manchester NH if that helps anyone.

My cousins are from Billerica. They're flying down to Disney in November and they're paying $400 per person, (2 adults, 3 children) round trip. You might catch a break if you wait and pay $69 per person each way, but for $99 per person each way sounds like you're getting a good deal.
We're going down in April, School vacation week, right now the best I can do is $300 per person round trip on an 8-10 hr, midnight and 6:00AM flight. We might be driving down...again.
Good Luck All,
Joe

Ughhhh....gulp......400 per person....I would have to rethink that one....who did they book thru??? Is it Thanksgiving week?

I just noticed that SWA now has ding fares that go up to Nov 15th, so I am hoping that they will offer one of my ways for a ding fare.

you are right 200 roundtrip doesn't seem bad, but I never have paid more than 150 and I was crazed about that. I know I have been spoiled for too long.....it was bound to end.

Do your cousins in billerica have school aged kids......at the Hajjar maybe??

The family of 5 that are going live on Jennifer circle and the family of 4 live on Margaret lane. All 5 kids go to grade school. They always go to Disney sometime in November, around Thanksgiving I don't know where they're flying out of or the Airline.

We always go in the spring for my daughter's birthday. Up until this past April we would fly down off peak for $150 each, round trip, non-stop. This past April during School vacation week the Air Fares were $500-$700 each, round trip, bad times, with stops. We ended up driving down non-stop, except for Gas and bathroom breaks, in our '06 Chevy Trail Blazer. It wasn't a bad ride; we left Boston, John Hancock Tower, Friday afternoon at 3:30 and arrived at Kissimmee, the Orange Lake Country Club, Saturday at 12:00 noon. The cost was about $400-$450 for gas, tolls and all. April '08? If we can get an Air Fare of $250 each, round trip, with decent hours we'll fly down, otherwise, my wife is all for driving down again.
Good Luck,
Joe

Their kids go to a different school than mine. We always tend to go down the first week of Nov. (my eldest daughters birthday time) but the way Veterans day fall this year (Monday) and the fact that there is a professional day on Tuesday at daughters school I decided to do the 2nd week of Nov. so she only misses out on 3 days of school but we get a nice 8 day vacation out of the deal.

haven't driven to disney yet with the kids....did do this with college roomates (Merrimack) and it was fine (although they made me do most of the driving) and then my husband and I drove his grandmothers care from Billerica to Port Charlotte FL (West coast) and stopped in disney for the day. Not too bad but I don't know that my 4 yr old would be much fun!!

Fingers crossed for the both of us that we find good flights.
