I'm hoping to go to DLP in June and if you book before a certain date in Feb you get certain offers. What will happen if I wait till after then? Can you experts tell me if I would be better off holding out for better deals or will the prices be likely to go up?

what offer are you currently getting for your dates?

The offer was kids under 7 stay and play free, there was another offer also saying you book a certain number of nights and get a night free but this seems to work out more expensive than just booking the normal way.

you need to do a dummy booking on the site to see what offers are available for the dates you wish to go.

you will get kids under 7 stay free as well as a percentage or free night offer.

I did the dummy runs and found that by booking the extra free night it was actully more expensive:confused:

It says book by Feb 11. So I'm not sure if I should wait a bit longer and see what happens after Feb?

Thanks

how do you mean? you dont add another night on, by doing that you are paying for it.

if you want to stay for four nights, put in your dates and the price listed is inclusive of any offer, which will be listed underneath. not all offers are available for every hotel or every date.

i just had a quick look for june and i was getting prices inclusive of the 30% off offer, that would be worth booking.

if you are only getting kids free under the dates you are looking to go i would definitely wait for an offer on those dates.

I put in the amount of nights I wanted to stay - 5 nights, it just gives you the option of the date you want to go and the number of nights you want to stay so I put in 5, Was I meant to only put in 4?

I just double checked and it is definitely more expensive.

what dates are you looking at? and for how many people, what hotel?

you are right you put in the number of nights you want to go for

I'm looking for 5 nights at the NPB for me and 2 children, one is 8, the other is 3 and has special needs.

Also another room for 2 adults

so in total 3 Adults and 2 kids.:)

I was looking to go on the 3rd of June for 5 nights and it def seems that the get an extra night free deal is actully more expensive then if you just go in and book 5 nights or maybe I'm having some serious blonde moments:yay:

I did a dummy booking for 1 adult and 2 children for 5 nights at NPB comm. 3rd June and the price it is quoting is £1426.60 under the offers Book by 31st January 2011 and get 30% off your stay, plus Kids under 7 stay & play free 2 adults are £1456.00

If you book under the 1 night/1 day free offer the price quoted is £1674.00 2 adults are £1706.00

The 1 night/1 day free offer is dearer because it can't be combined with the 30% off discount. If you're happy with the 30% offer price and able to book before the end of January (which is when the offer expires) I would do so as it's for all hotels on all dates. If a better offer comes along (like the 40% that's been offered previously) it won't necessarily be for all hotels nor for all dates so is only worth waiting for if you can be flexible with when you go.

Hope this helps. :)

I've already booked for June, I too was unsure whether to hold out for a better offer.
But then I thought, I know when I want to go and I know my budget. I figured out that my budget covers SL with 30% off or HNY with 40% off.
So I have booked SL and if 40% off comes back in February I will most likely phone and upgrade to HNY!
This might not be the right idea for everybody but it makes me feel good, because I know I'm going now, and I'll be sure to get the best offer I could have gotten either way.
Earlier posters are right when they point out that 40% might not be available for your dates if it does come out, so you could be best off booking with 30% off too. Maybe SL, then you could upgrade to NBC if 40% does come back?
