Book now, apply bounceback later?

If I book a 10-day trip for fall, and 7 of those days are covered by bounceback, will I be able to apply the bounceback to just the 7 days and keep one reservation - assuming the bounceback has availability still when I call from on site?

(Yes, I will be staying on site well before fall and will call bounceback number. )

Ive done this before. We paid the extra night/s just regular rate unless there was a promo out.

i would think it would have to be on a different reservation for the extra nights. I have 8 days booked on a room only discount. The CM said we have to book the 7 days covered by the PIN and then book a separate reservation for the extra days, but tell them it is a continuing reservation. There is a chance we would have to switch rooms, but they would try to avoid thaT
