Ok, I am going CRAZY sice I found these boards. Think I've spent more time here than sleeping, LOL.

Here's my dilemma, planning our trip for April 2007. I've narrowed it down between 3 resorts:

1. Pop
2. CSR
3. Swan

The rates will not be out untilt his summer, so I can't make my final choice until then.......so do I wait, or is it possible to book at more than one resort, and then cancel one when the rates come out?

I'm really confused, because our dates will be one full week after Easter, so not sure if this will be peak/regular/value time?

HELP!!!

Easter falls on April 8th next year......and it will be peak season, that is, if you look at this years peak time-- i would assume it would be.

Thanks. Sorry, I guess my post was not clear. Yes, Easter is April 8th, and we will be going the following weekend, which is April 14th. When I compared the weekend following Easter THIS year, the rate went down on Sunday (which would be equal to APril 15 2007). Many different sites split hairs, on when the rates change, looking back over the years, alas my confusion. :confused3

From what I understand, the system will not let you make more than one reservation for the same days..it automatically cancels all but one...BUT, being as I am brand-new that could be wrong. I'm sure someone else would know for sure, though.

Good luck deciding! :)

Rent points and stay at BWV, or another DVC resort.

My advice is to book the resort you know you can afford, then upgrade later if you can. I'm not sure when the 2007 rates will come out, I'm thinking it's late summer but I don't remember for sure. I'm looking for them as well, so I can book for next May. I'm also thinking the rates usually change on a Sunday, but I can't swear to that either. I know we've checked in on a Sunday our last two trips, and we arrived the day the rates went down on purpose.

I think I'm leaning towards CSR. That is of course I have NOT ruled out renting points for DVC.
