Need to book a good neighbor hotel for 3 nights, Sept 4-6. It is Labor Day weekend, but from what I have read, that time is busy due to locals going to the parks for a last hurrah, not from long distance vacationers. Should I book something now, or wait a bit and see if there are some good Labor day deals as we get closer? Just 2 kids and myself and we'll spend our time in the parks so we don't need anything fancy...
Thanks for the advice all!

I always book something once I know when I'm going. Then start looking for deals. If I find something that is a better deal or matches my needs better I'll book that and cancel the former.

My husband and I have been to Disney for the past 3 Labor day weekends. The Magic Kingdom will be slowest on Sat., VERY busy Sunday and a bit slower Monday. Pick other parks for Sunday and you will be fine. Good Luck!

Book now and change if you have to. I think the Disney Half Marathon is that weekend too.

Yes, the Half is that weekend, early on Sunday morning.

I would say book now. But I always say book now cause I can't wait!

The only excpetion would be that there may be some good AP rates for onsite. But I believe they start the weekend AFTER Labor Day.

Have a magical trip.:wizard:

I also say book now and make changes/cancel later if necessary. That way you can at least lock in the rate for now. Most hotels do not charge your credit card at time of reservation and only have penalties if you don't cancel at least 24 hours prior your stay (just double check with the hotel that you are booking to make sure that is the case though).
