Book & Apply Discount Later?

Hi - New to the forums. Took my first trip to Disney 2 weeks ago and had the time of my life. Planning another one in October for my 40th b-day. I'm looking at Oct. 10 - Oct. 15.

I used the 40% room discount for this past stay and I'm wanting to do that again but I'm scared to wait until August for the discounts to be announced. I'm afraid the Food & Wine Festival will book up all the rooms at BC & YC.

Can I book my rooms now and call back when the discounts are announced and have it applied. Or is that a "maybe they can apply it".

Basically should I book now and hope to have a discount or wait until the discounts are announced?

That is a great way to celebrate your 40th!!!!

Yes, you can book something and if an applicable discount becomes available you can call and have them apply it. Once you see the discount, I would call right away because in certain instances (like a 40%) room discount, they only allot a certain amount of rooms!
