My hair doesn't grow that fast, and I just need a trim and my bangs and layers redone. I think it'll look all right still when I get to WDW

I have to get my hair cut before Disney too...I'm wondering if I should do it now so it will grow out a little before I go or if I should wait until like, the week before to do it! Sometimes it looks weird right after it gets cut!

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Everytime I get my bangs trimmed for like two days afterward I call them "nerd bangs" because they just look so weird! For some reason my eyeballs always look super huge right after a bang trim! I definitely need to get mine cut a few weeks before we leave!

This is my to-do list for before I leave:

Laundry (aside from the laundry I'm doing now)
Clean my room
Pack
Paint my nails
Get a haircut
Buy batteries and memory card
Give dad my Chicago card to use for the week
Stop at Weber's

I can't clean my room until all the animals are brought to their vacation homes this weekend lol.
I'm already packed but I'm thinking about re-packing this weekend.
My nails are a mess. I'll paint my toes but my fingers are a waste. I'll just end up peeling the polish off on the plane.
Got my hair cut last weekend! I swear, I lost 5lbs just in hair!
I have enough memory cards but I definitely need batteries.
I have no idea what a Chicago Card or Weber's is. I have to go to Walmart!

A Chicago Card is a form of payment for the CTA. It's a touch card. Mine reloads every month with an unlimited monthly pass, so I'm going to let my dad use it since it's already paid for.

And Weber's is this awesome bakery here in Chicago I'm picking up fudge covered pound cake

We passed by there on the way to MDW the AM of our departure day and my DMIL asked if we wanted to stop and Greg said no, I was fine either way-I regret that now! I haven't had that fudge covered pound cake in years. Our 1 year anniversary cake was from Weber's and it was delicious. They also sell these chocolate covered almond type things and they are addictive.

LOL that's pretty much what happens to me, I usually ask for long bangs that I can wear over to the side (although you can never tell in pictures, they grow out so fast!) and for the first week or so, my hair just looks weird, it's like it has to settle or something. I don't want to cut my hair shorter right now either, I just need the ends trimmed off and some layers and bangs cut in, so I should probably do that soon!

I just keep thinking to myself that in 6 days, I'll be able to eat from Karamelle Kuche!

I wonder about this after an experience we had a couple weeks ago at DL. We were in the Critter Country Character Greeting area. In the line you could get a picture with Pooh and then Tigger. I waited while this really obnoxious family with a ton of kids that didn't speak English (probably Brazilian) couldn't decide whether or not they were done taking pictures. They would start to walk away and one of the kids would run back to Pooh and yell, "Seulemente!" Each kid had to do this after not wanting to be in the group photo. Finally the handler shooed them all on to the Tigger. Each time I would start to walk up to Pooh, Fran would bring the camera up to her face, and the kid would run back to Pooh. So I FINALLY got my picture with Pooh. Fran starts to ride away on her scooter and Pooh chased her down to get a hug. It made me wonder if it was a lesbian in there who was so excited to see another couple that she "used her costume" just to be friendly.

THAT didn't bother me so much, but it got me thinking, that they are people in there, and I know they would get in BIG trouble if they tried anything, but I have to wonder how many guys are in those costumes and get "extra" hugs. I can tell you that I have been squeezed a little harder than I expected a few times by characters. Not recently, but it makes me wonder.

I still like taking pictures with them!

My sister's godfather and his wife had Weber's cake at their wedding, and every time there's a big party and they go, they bring kolachky and fudge covered something. I forget what it is when it's not Super Bowl time, but I know that then it's always the mini footballs I haven't been by there in a long time since it's so far south and I'm so far north (it's basically right on the other side of the city).

I have long bangs right now, and they drive me nuts. They're too short to put back and too long to let them sit there I'm not allowed to have hair in my face at work except "regular" bangs, so it really annoys me.

I'm surprised the attendant didn't shoo them away sooner As for the "extra" hugs, I honestly don't know, but obviously, if you ever feel that a character has been inappropriate, you should tell the handler. Maybe Pooh just felt bad about the interruptions and wanted to hug Fran, too? I have no clue. The characters I knew were pretty good about trying to make sure people enjoyed meeting them.

And this is why I got my hair cut last week....so that I would NOT look like I was having bad hair day at the World.
