boo-hoo with hiltonhhonors!!!

I am soooo upset. I have enough points to redeem a 4 day park hopper pass and was told that there is a 1 year expiration on it. I do not know if we are going to go this summer or next.
I would love to have the ticket in my hand. I hate to wait and the points go up for the tickets.
Has anyone else redeemed this and have an expiration? Last time (about 2 years ago mine did not)

I just redeemed this summer and used my ticket this December and my ticket did NOT have an expiration on it.

FYI I did ask about upgrading the ticket to an Annual Pass and could have done so for about $195 additional.
