Boo Bash or Deluxe Extra Hours?

I’m making a solo trip in late October and want to try out some extras as DH doesn’t like surprises or extra effort. I will likely stay offsite as I have a car and AP. I’m trying to decide between trying for a walk-up BB ticket or moving to the Dolphin for my last night to utilize the Extra Deluxe Hours at MK the next night. Pros/cons? What would be the best way to get to MK from the Dolphin and to return after the extra hours? I haven’t been able to find confirmation that the Mears buses are still running to the Dolphin after the extra hours. Anyone know? Do I bite the bullet and pay the extra to stay at the Dolphin the whole time? I don’t like to waste money and I don’t need the Disney bubble so I won’t stay at a Disney Deluxe.

Frankly, I'd kind of think of doing a hybrid of both. Since you have an AP, I won't suggest watching the Costco Swolphin pkgs, but it's pretty easy to spot Swolphin on Priceline if you put in a tiny bit of effort, and check what the current keywords are to spot them with.

I would do Boo Bash no matter what. YOLO.

Buses to and from MK shouldn't be major factor. You can use BW AND BC/YC, too. The resorts are very close to each other and connected by walking paths.

If you have a car and can park at MK (actually TTC) for free, I suggest you do so. To take the Mears bus to the Dolphin, you'd have to first get to the TTC anyway. And the only reason to return to the Dolphin after your Extended Evening hours would be to pick up your luggage if you left it there. If you can fit your luggage in the trunk, there is no need to return to the Dolphin. Just drive home or to your next destination after leaving the TTC.

P.S. I was reading your question as more about how to travel on your Extended Evening hours night than about whether you should go to Boo Bash instead. Having never attended either, I offer no opinion on Boo Bash vs. Extended Evening hours. But there's no reason to worry about whether the Mears buses are still running after Extended Evening hours (although I suspect they will be).
