What impact if any might Bonnie have on the Fort and WDW?

Sorry if this has been addresses already.

It looks like its going to cross south florida FW will most likely receive mostly rain, and possibly a little more wind at the most..

:scared1:Today...it is a very week storm and is a non-issue.

A local news person was on the beach this morning and picked up a leaf and let it go to show that their was a slight breeze. It would have had more impact if she had worn a dress. She would not have looked like a complete idiot at least.

Ahhhh...ya gotta love the news media. If there is nothing of excitement to report, they will create the excitement to cause concern or panic. It is my sincere hope that no yellow flies were harmed during the filming of this segment. :rolleyes1

:scared1: WHAT!? Noooo- I hope every single yellow fly in Florida and all of their little baby flylets and all future yellow flies are rendered biteless... especially any yellow flies that are planning on inhabiting the loop near the stables ;)

It's going to be awful. Everyone should stay out of the parks for the next 10 days. For your own safety.

1:30PM Bonnie update from 25 miles west of Fort Wilderness!!

Sustained winds from the ESE at 4-8 MPH. Sunny with partial cloudiness. Temperature 92 degrees, humidity 88%. Feels like temperature? Damned hot!! If you want to be comfortable, stay inside in the air conditioning. Do NOT get a Southerned Smothered Hot Dog at the Meadow(s) Snack Bar. The wind is so gusty you will never be able to hang on to the one napkin provided with the hot dog. At one time you would have been given two napkins, but Ft.WGuy helped himself to all the napkins and stashed them in his TT.

Consider this a public service announcement! You're welcome.

You forgot toinclude this warning.

WARNING...YELLOW FLIES MAY BITE!

Okay. Took a quick ride to eat at the Ale House (Friday Fish Fry $4.95 - yay!) Bonnie arrived at WDW approximately 4:10pm. Heavy rain, gusty winds. It's now 5:23pm and all severe weather has moved through heading WNW. Scattered rain expected throughout the weekend. We need the rain here, and I profusely apologize if rain has spoiled anyone's vacation. After all - this is the "Sunshine State" and WDW in particular, should guarantee that nobody's vacation is spoiled by rain. At the very least, FtW should give everyone a letter at check-in notifying them of the possibility of rain.

Should I complain I didn't get a nite warning me Bonnie might drop some rain on us?

You should send it to corporate. They might not know that Bonnie was in the area.
