Bonnett Creek

Ok I have booked our vacation at Wyndham Bonnett Creek and read WONDERFUL reviews from people on this site but when I look on Tripadvisor alot of people were saying that they had ROACHES in their room.This has made me sooo worried.. I am deathly afraid of roaches and that is a DEAL BREAKER for me( i know, I'm a big baby) LOL Was wondering if anyone else have had this problem?

I was there in May for 7 nights and had NO problems!! Absolutely loved the resort and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!! Ask for a room with a firework view- you will not be disappointed. Beautiful place!!!

We have been there four times, actually just got home a couple weeks ago from there. In all our trips we have NEVER seen a roach or bug of any kind anywhere in our room .

do not get a first floor room/villa.

florida not to mention AL and other southern states has roaches. they will walk in any other space that is not screened - so doors, windows, etc.

the ones that Florida has the most of (or Orlando) is the Palmetto bugs - they are big and live mostly outside. which means all the sprays in the world won't kill them completely - they come inside to eat - they live outside.

Eeewww!! Thanks for the article Spiceycat, The pictures creeped me out but good information LOL. Thanks everyone for your feedback, you have really put my mind at ease, Have already put down my deposit and hated to lose it but now I'm sticking with Bonnet Creek for sure.

We have been going to Bonnet Creek at least twice a year for the last 7 years and have never had a problem. The first time we had the condo on the bottom floor right next to the playground and the only thing we had an issue with was that our kids (who were very little at the time) would open up the patio doors and let ducks in our room.

Luckychance LOL thats too funny, now I can deal with ducks better than roaches so thats ok I think I will just stay off tripadvisor and stick tp this wonderful site. Everyone is soooo HELPFUL on here. I have learned alot of GREAT pointers on here! Thanks guys!!!

I was on the bottom floor last time we went.

I did see a roach... I had never seen one before... It Was kind of neat...

Mind you i had the screen door opened whenever i was in my unit, so i was asking for it...
