The schedule changes from week to week based on the park hours and expected crowds.

We never used the shuttle as we had a rental as well. I don't think I would like having the same bus for 2 parks though.

We found the bus system to get you where you need to go, but not in a timely manner. Seems like everyone wants to get to RD, therefore making the buses fill quickly. And if you have an early ADR, you are pretty much out of luck with the Bonnett Creek buses. :confused3 We felt the buses just weren't frequent enough for the amount of people that wanted to use it.

We managed to survive riding the bus for 3 days, then ended up taking a cab to every park & back, which would run us between $20-40 a ride. We decided that from now on, if we use our timeshare, we will rent a car. If we choose to stay at a Disney resort, we will use their bus system. Good luck with your decision.... Have a great time on your trip!!!

Can anyone comment on the various building/tower options? Are any either better or worse than others (i.e. view, noise, proximity to pools, parking, etc.)? Thanks.

Bldgs 1 and 2 are most requested, I think. They have nice views (request lake view) and are inbetween the two pools. We were first assigned bldg 3 and I hated the view! We were on the end nearest the construction and that was our view...construction. I also was worried about noise being so close to it. I immediately called the front desk and was moved to bldg 2, right outside the mini-golf/pool. We loved that location and view.

Is there a restaraunt or poolside bar at this resort?

No restaurant ... although when the hotels get built, there will be a selection. There is a small fast food/grille place in the main building near the pool complex -- burgers/sandwiches and the like. There is a bar/small pizza place near the smaller pool with slide.

You really need to go offsite for food. It's a quick jump to Downtown Disney, or Crossroads, or any of the chains on 535.

Thanks AM!!! I think I did see it before but when setsail posted I got nervous...lol!! I have a ressie for a van for the full 2 weeks incase can convince dh..he says he is on vacation and does not want to drive....but I am trying to tell him it is not the DISNEY BUSES and it could take away from part of our day at the parks on the buses..I got a great deal on the rental so I dont' want to lose it and then he decides we shud have a car and pay an outrageous amount...LOL!!!
