This may not be the place, but.. could someone direct me to trip reports from Bonnet Creek? I can't seem to find any. Surely SOMEONE has stayed there and posted about it!!?? We will be staying there in July. (My parents have rented the presidential suite and invited my family to stay free of course) We usually stay on site but free is free.

I don't know of any but if you google "Bonnet Creek Resort+reviews" the first hit is a good one.

I'm going to move you over to the Orlando boards. Hopefully you can get some answers over there.

We stayed there in Sept of '05 it was so so beautiful, we really loved it, and it was perfact for us, full kitchen, it is kinda fancy and not quite homey if you know what i mean, leather sofa and chairs, really up scale decorating, the room doors open into hall ways vs outside like the other fairfeild resorts we've stayed at, SO nice though.
We were about 10 min away for most of the parks (parking lots). The pool was great, the kids would have happily pasted up a day at the parks to play in the kiddy pool and lazy river, hummm anything specific you are wanting to know???

I stayed here in October 2006. This is an absolutely beautiful resort. It is located right next to the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. From our room we could easily see the Epcot Ball and the tower of terror at MGM. We had a 2-bed suite and it was very upscale. They had 2 pools, one with a waterslide. A lazy river, a large kiddie pool area, volleyball, mini-golf and a playground. If you have a chance to stay there, I highly recommend it. I have plenty of pics of the rooms and the resort that I took, I will post them tonite when I get home from work.

We stayed there in 2005 and it was great! The two-bedroom suite had plenty of room for our family of four. The pool and lazy river are wonderful. My kids liked the game room, although I'm not sure that it was quite finished yet.

There was a lot of construction noise and annoyance while we were there, but by now that's probably mostly over.

We usually stay on-site, too, but this resort has a lot going for it in terms of space and the fact that it is decorated and appointed nicely. Also, although it is not technically on-site, it virtually is, and it's very easy to get around the whole of WDW from Bonnet Creek. As long as you have a car, you'll be fine.

I'll be staying there Sunday through Wednesday.

CPM,
What site did you go through to make your reservations?

Actually I didn't. My uncle owns Fairfield points. He was trying to book a one bedroom and all he could get was a two bedroom. So, he invited us up to use it with them. I didn't blink an eye!!I really don't know how he books them. I can ask when I see him Sunday.

Anyone else? Our trip is in July. I'm just wondering if anyone has missed any of the usual Disnye perks? You know early/late magic hour, and the other "perks". But I'm so excited about the presidential suite, although I've never seen it. Has anyone stayed there??

I'm here now. We are in a two bedroom in the main building with a room facing the pool. This place is really nice!!!

We actually spent the whole day at the resort, my son never wanted to leave to go to the park. He played mini golf, went down the lazy river, made an ice-cream sundae, tie dyed a shirt, played chess, pingpong, pool and made us go over to the other pool just to go down the pool slide. I'm exhausted!

the rooms are posh. They have everything that the Disney DVC rooms have in them. the balcony is huge.

My only complaint is that there is only one small place to get food. They did have a pool bar over by building three, which was nice, but no food. I'm sure they will probably add more food stuff. They also need a little store or something.

Oh, and free high speed internet!! :)

We have our car, so we really didn't miss any Disney perks. EMH didn't affect us.

He made them through Fairfield about 3 weeks ago. It's not very busy here this week.

I'm also interested in Bonnet Creek for my first vacation to Florida. If possible i would like to see some pics...

I have 2 questions: how much did you pay for a 2 bedroom per day? I know it depends on the time of the year, but i only want to have an ideia of the price... I have to be an owner to stay there? If not, where can I book?

Thanks!

I booked directly from an owner I found thru bidshares.com

I am paying 600 USD for 7 nights in May. Check out tripadvisor.com keyword: Bonnet Creek for reviews and photos.

I can't help ya with booking, we book through my grandparetn's who are owners, and don't pay a fee either... $600 for 7 days seems like an great price that's less then $100 a day and for all you get in a room, ei kitchen, 2 bathrooms, awsome pools, we loved it there, but like cyprus palms a little better for when we are going down to not just do the world, we'll only be in the world 2 of the 7 days so cyprus plams was a better choice! :)

I took lots of pictures. Remind me in a few days. When I get a chance over the weekend I will upload them to the Kodak gallery and share.
No idea of the price,we stayed with our uncle, he booked at 50% off of his points and no fee. Because it was less than a certain amount of time out. That's about all I got out of him. I don't think you pay when you own points.

We stayed at Bonnet Creek during Christmas Week 2006 in a 2 bedroom suite. It was very nice and we were extremely happy with it. We were in Tower 3. Here's a brief report:

Pros:
-- great view of the Epcot fireworks and could see some others in the distance as well.

--kitchen was well equipped

--the master bath included a jaccuzzi

-- master bedroom had a king bed and the other bedroom had two doubles or queens. There's also a fold out couch in the living room.

--beautiful, new decor.

--helpful staff

--Main building has good kids activities, nice workout room, game room, computer access.

--cool pools and minature golf.

--nice hot tub

--an outdoor grill you can use(I think for each building)

Not really any cons, but I would probably stay in Tower 1 or 2 if possible. Tower 3 was a little far from the bus stop, main building, and the larger, more kid friendly pool. My brother-in-law, who owns there, stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was even more luxurious than ours. It had 4 bedrooms AND baths, a huge balcony and a great kitchen.

The bus service is a little inconvenient because we had to book the day before. A couple of times they didn't have our name down even though we called well in advance, but they let us on the bus anyway. I would highly recommend renting a car. It's a short drive to all the parks and DTD. They are building a Wyndham hotel right next door, really part of the same resort, so that way they will have more restaurants and amenities.

My pictures of Bonnet Creek are ready at the Kodak Gallery. Anyone that wants an invite to view them needs to email me at Cheryl1106@aol.com

We just got a 4br Presidential Suite booked for our upcoming trip in September  Renting points from our friend and one 4br came available yesterday so we have it booked! I'm exstatic :rotfl: It's me, DH, DD 12, SIL, BIL, nephew 7 and MIL & FIL. We've been to WDW before, they have not. For me it will be a blessing everyone having there own bathroom and bedroom, getting ready in the morning will be a piece of cake ;) Though I would have rather stayed within the world, this will be a different trip but seeing the pictures of this resort, wow, it looks gorgeous!!!

Off to start the planning :rotfl:

You're basically onsite. It literally touches CBR property.
The only bad thing is you won't get EMH's.
