Hello everyone,

My family was is WDW a few weeks ago and while driving around we came across a sign for Bonnet Creek Resort which we had never heard of. I haven't really thought of it since getting home until I saw someone mention it in there WDW trips and that they stayed there Feb 2005. If anyone knows about this resort or has stayed there, please let me know what it's like. I love finding new things at WDW.

Correct, it isn't a Disney owned property. I think I read somewhere that it isn't even on Disney property just part of the road to access the resort is.

I appreciate the info. I've read all the Disney guide books and had never heard mention of it. Thanks so much

It is supposed to have several different timeshares at the location when it is completed. Right now, only Fairfield is located there. You get no Disney perks, like transportation, packages to your room, etc with this resort. It is technically off Disney property.

It is owned by Fairfield Resorts. We toured there a few years ago. My MIL ownes a Fairfield timeshare. It is really nice, but doesn't have any Disney perks like EMH or Disney Bus service. The land it is on was land locked by Disney Property on 3 sides and Hwy on the other and was never purchased by Disney, so it is essentially on property-but not.

It is part of the Marriot timeshare group. :pug:

Incorrect. It has NOTHING to do with Marriott timeshares. As mentioned, it is part of Fairfield (timeshare) Resorts. Not related at all to Fairfield Inn, which is a Marriott property.

property it sits on was actually owned by an elderly couple who wouldnt sell when disney bought up all the land. When they passed away there was a sealed bid. Fairfield bid more than Disney thought anyone would, and acquired the property. It is owned by Fairfield which also owns rci timeshares, and wyndham hotel chain. The resort is beautiful, and very close to everything, but as hitherto mentioned, no disney perks.

cendant owns fairfield franchise and rci as well as many other travel related resources eg like Avis and wingate inns travelodge, howard johnson etc.... just to mention a few of their holdings....thus the over all umbrella is the cendant corporation
