So which Bonnet Creek resort and why?

The Wyndham Bonnet Creek looks like the best deal/space for the price but maybe I'm wrong. Do you have access to all the pools and is there a splash area (like the ones found at the Disney Deluxe resorts) here?

We have APs so driving and parking at the parks isn't an issue so other than the 30 vs 60 day FP is there a difference between bonnet creek and the Disney moderates?

Are there good dining options?

Where is the best place to book Bonnet Creek?

Wydham Bonnet Creek is the resort that you want to stay at. There is a Wyndham Grand there also, but that is a hotel and costs considerably more.

Yes, you have access to all pools on property including a small splash pad. Just a forewarning, there is no shade over the splash pad so it can get quite warm but there is plenty of tables with umbrellas near by.

With Bonnet Creek, the smallest unit you can get is a one bedroom deluxe with a fully functional kitchen which is considerably larger than your run of the mill moderate room on Disney property with only a small fridge.

There are plenty of dining options on property at Bonnet Creek, menus look good but we did not eat at any. They also have grills on property that are cleaned every morning.

For us, Vacation Strategy is the best place to book, they have always had the lowest price, will price match any other legit travel business out there but I have never found a lower price and after you stay one time with them, they give a $100 discount off all future bookings.

Its just my wife, child and I and we also have our own car and have stayed on property before. We have stayed at Bonnet Creek for eight nights and no doubt, having the larger space is a plus and can see all fireworks depending on your view. We love it at Bonnet Creek and already have three additional stays at Bonnet Creek planned this year. Everything is within easy driving distance, right next to Disney Springs, Wal-mart within 10 mins where we went to stock up on everything. We can leave Bonnet Creek and be walking into MK within 30 mins which includes parking at TTC, getting on monorail, etc.

Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek is the hotel version of the resort. It is expensive comparatively.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek (WBC) is the timeshare side and the cheapest when you find good people to go through.

Staying at WBC you have access to everything on the Wyndham property including the Grand.

Do your research for the best price. In almost all cases, you are renting from a private owner which comes with risk. The risk is very low if you do it right. Vacation Strategy has good prices but tends to be on the higher side in some cases. However, you have almost 0 risk with them. VRBO, Redweek, TUG are all good. Here are the prices I received that started me on WBC:

Dec 2nd Week 2014: 2BR Deluxe $500 (Value season)
June 17-24, 2017: 1BR Dlx $560 (Prime season)
June 24-July 1, 2017: 1BR Dlx $534 (free upgrade if inventory is available at the 60-day mark; Prime Season)

Dining: There are several options on site. Disney Springs is about 2-3 miles away. You have full kitchens and grills to use. Fun meeting and grilling with others while there. About 10 minutes up the street, you have tons of restaurants and FL has Happy Hour. We ate at Lonestar (3 adults, 1 9yo). We had 2 24oz beers, 4 large margaritas, 3 6oz sirloins, and 1 12oz ribeye. With tip, the total was $80.

Jumping into this thread, if you booked through Vacation Strategy - do you pay in full up front and do you happen to know their cancellation policy?

How do I reserve my unit with Vacation Strategy?

We require a small deposit to reserve your villa. Visa, MasterCard or Discover are accepted, at this time we do not accept American Express. We require a $150.00 deposit for any vacation that is under $1,000 dollars and a $300 deposit for any vacation over $1000 dollars. If a vacation is an extended stay an additional deposit may be required, usually 10% of the total price.

When is the balance due?
Your balance will be due 30 days before your check in date. We will notify you with an invoice via email and telephone. If we do not receive your final payment at least 16 days before check in, we may have to cancel your reservation and no refund will be given. Please notify us if you need any extensions or are having difficulty paying your final balance online. We will be more than happy to help you.
