Bonnet Creek or Sheraton Vistana Resort...

Which would you choose and why?

I have less than 24 hrs to give an answer... please help....


Anything in walking distance from either of the two resorts... dining ... fun... parks... we will have a car but hubby likes to walk to places as well...

I know BC is closer to everything and appears to be a little newer so thats what I would go with. We will be there in a few days so I will be reporting back on how we like it soon.

We LOVED Bonnet Creek!

As far as walking goes, I don't think you'll find much to walk to with either property.

If you do choose Wyndham Bonnet Creek, be sure to request a fireworks view. We were in building 5 and watched the fireworks from MK and Epcot from our balcony every night.

with BC you can't walk to anything yet

with SVR you can walk to some restuarants if you stay in Lakes or Fountain

no walking to any parks from either one.

BC has a shuttle for free

SVR has a shuttle that you pay for (fee) and it does not go to the parks as often as BC


staying offsite you really need a car

As an aside, the food situation at Bonnet Creek is about to get better this weekend. The new Escudos pool is getting an expanded menu---still wraps and sandwiches, etc. but a broader selection than the other spots around.

When the Hilton/Waldorf complex opens, things will get even better.

I imagine you already made your choice but maybe this will help.

Last January I stayed at Bonnet Creek for 2 night and then Sheraton Vistana for 3 nights.

Bonnet Creek: LOVED the unit and that the resort is relatively small. My cousins were staying at Saratoga Springs and it was fun to be so close to them.

Sheraton Vistana: Older unit and not as nice (but I know it depends on the section you're in) We were right by a great pool, bar and the grocery store though so that was excellent. I loved the proximity to Downtown Disney b/c we spent alot of time there.

My first choice though is Bonnet Creek and we just booked to go there again.

I did choose the Sheraton Vistana Resort due to Dunkin donuts across the street...because of my husband...... thank you for all your responses
