Bonnet Creek on Ebay?

Hi,
I was wondering if any DISers have used ebay to rent Bonnet Creek units. I often see weeks going there with bids starting about 250-300 a week and many say no reserve. Is it possible to get them for that low? We're going at the end of January, which is a slow time.

Also, we are going from January 25-30 (wednesday-monday), but I know they are rented by the week. I don't know if we can get the right dates...How does that work? Anyone know?

Ive rented Bonnet Creek through Ebay. Earlier this year I got a one bedroom Presidential suite for a week for $600 total. Dont know if that's good or bad. I paid through Paypal, the rest of the transaction went as expected, nothing unusual to report.

Just be very careful about renting. We are looking for someplace to sell ( at VERY low cost) our Bluegreen points. Someone told us to look into selling them on Ebay. We are hesitant not knowing exactly how this would work and wondering how someone would trust enough to buy through Ebay

Well, we've stayed at Windsor Hills and Reunion through vrbo before and had no problems. So I don't know that ebay would be any less or more trustworthy. Lots of people sell and rent timeshares on there.

As someone who frequents ebay I would have no problem renting points though someone as long as they had a good history on ebay. If you check out their feedback, it is good then all will probably be well. We have also rented through vrbo and had no problems either.

I'd just made sure to check their history....unfortunately there are scam artists out there.

I'm a big Ebay buyer. I always check Ebay on purchases in case I can get a steal.

Redweeks BC auctions all start at $279 I think or close to it. I have seen many of his close with one bid, so yes you can get them for that cheap.

Cool! I just wondered if maybe they were too good to be true. The January weeks aren't really up yet, so I'm just going to wait and watch! I'm still not sure about how our dates will work with BC.

I've bought 8 nights on ebay for a 2 bedrooms unit in May for $540. someome around the same time as I was bidding got the same for the same price and someone else on the Dis got a 2 bed presidential for a week the same week for $625. I have nothing bad to say about buying on ebay. I've only had good luck so far and intend to do the same for our trip next summer. can't beat the prices for what you get.
