Bonnet Creek management as compared to Windsor Hills?

I'm in the process of figuring out Bonnet Creek vs. Windsor Hills. The biggest single issue for me is cleanliness. We're clean freaks, no apologies.

I take it Windsor Hills is a big mix of possibilities - different owners, different management companies - some great, some terrible.

But from what I can figure out, it sounds like Bonnet Creek has more of a hotel sort of feel to it.

So is all housekeeping managed by one central Bonnet Creek service or is it also fragmented?

I guess what I really want to know is - at Bonnet Creek do I have a greater guarantee of cleanliness across all units? If I have trouble, am I hunting for an owner/manager or am I calling to a front desk?

Some of the homes in Windsor Hills use management companies to clean their houses in between guests. These management companies, understandably clean many many houses and have to get a lot done before the first guest leaves and the next guest arrives. It is probably very similar to the situation in Bonnet Creek, which is also cleaned by a different "agency" than employees of the resort itself. In comparing the two, they will actually probably be pretty similar.

If you are a stickler for cleaning, you may be better off to rent from a homeowner that either manages (cleans/maintains) his home himself or else deals with a small or family owned management company.

I stayed in a Windsor Hills home (one of the Story Time rentals) and, though I did not necessarily inspect the home for cleanliness nothing at all stuck out to me that was yucky. However, my next trip I am planning on Bonnet Creek. I guess just do your research, read reviews, and have fun planning!!

:)

From my understanding, Windsor hills is basically a subdivision with each unit potentially owned by a different person. While management companies may be contracted or actually own multiple units, It's still basically a home rental.

Bonnet Creek on the other hand is a timeshare resort. The individual owners at this resort (points based) do not actually own a specific unit, but own a percentage of the actual resort. The owners are part of the resort's Home Owners Association, But management of the entire resort is handled by Wyndham's Timeshare division. From an operational standpoint, it's more like a hotel than a home rental. (It's a big place though, and you still run into issues where "housekeeping" need to clean/turn a lot of rooms in a short time period, which could result in things being missed.)

With WBC, if you have any problems with your unit, you can contact the front desk and they can try and assist you with your issue.
