Bonnet Creek- good internet????

Okay, I am putting this out to you guys because I need a quick response if possible. I am about to book a great priced rental at Bonnet Creek but need to know if the internet is good. Do you frequently get disconnected??? My hubby needs to take a test via internet during our vacation but if he gets kicked off during the test he isn't allowed back in.

I haven't stayed there yet, but it's my understanding that all the rooms still have a wired connection in addition to wifi. I've heard that wifi can be spotty, but I think the wired connection has no issues. Your dh can either used the wired connection into his laptop, or if he needs to use wifi, I think you can bring your own router and plug it into the wired connection to set up your own wifi network.

Bring your own ethernet cable and connect to the internet (in room) ...
I had no issues that way or with my own router (wifi setup) ...

I just checked out of there last Sunday. I never saw a cable to hardware in, but I really didn't look, may have been by the phone.

Anyway, I had no problems with the wifi when I was using it. It is one of those where you have to agree to the terms of service every time if your device goes to sleep. So if he is doing his work all at once, it shouldn't be a problem. I had to do company payroll on vacation and just used wifi with no problem.

The iPad seemed to be a bit touchy, like if it turned off after a few min of inactivity, then I had to sign in again, but the laptop was fine.

There is also a business center he could use but I don't know the cost of that. BTW, we loved it there.

The resort uses IP telephony. There is an ethernet port on the side of the phone itself.
