Looking at going through Ken and Denise Price. What if we have to cancel because of a snow storm? Are we out of our money, refund 100%...? thanks

You should ask them that. Their cancellation policy would be in the contract you would likely sign.

If you are going at a time that is iffy, you may want to make contingency plans. For example, we left a day early for our last vacation to beat a storm coming in. I had booked a cancellable night in a hotel along the way in case that became necessary. In hindsight, we could have probably left as scheduled, but it eased my mind knowing that we wouldn't get caught on the highway and it got us to our destination a few hours earlier. It was an easier trip all the way around.

I'm not sure of Ken and Denise's exact policy, But i do know that Wyndham's policy for owners is that any reservation canceled within 15days prior to the reservation result in a forfeiture of the points used to reserve that reservation. So i would assume that if you cancelled within that window you would not receive a refund as they would still loose the points they were using to reserve that room for you.

If you are worried about a possible weather related forced cancellation, you may consider purchasing trip insurance for your trip. There are several places you can purchase it for a trip (not just tied to a reservation) so if your trip gets canceled for any reason beyond your control the insurance would reimburse you the money you paid.
