We are staying at The WBC Resort, not the timeshare, and will have a car. Can I get some advice as to quick meals that won't take more than 20 minutes to get to? We would love to visit some of the Disney resorts or Disney Springs and eat at their quick service places but , having never stayed at BC I'm not sure how much of a hassle this would be. We are DVC members and know Disney property very well. Any recommendations or advice? How much time would it take to get to the closest resorts or DS for a quick service lunch then back to BC for pool time?

Not too far, AoA and POR have great food courts and are great resorts to walk around and check out. Both under a 10 minute drive (only slowed by lights and cars) ... I think a total of one hour for driving, ordering and eating.

You honestly will be 5 minutes from Disney Springs and with Blaze, D-Luxe Burger, Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Express and a few others, you have options.

While we usually just make our own lunch at WBC I have heard their pizza place isn't bad if you wanted to grab one and take to pool.

Almost everything is within 5 miles. Traffic is another story though. Take a look at Google Maps to see where you are located. This will give you an idea. Boardwalk is about 2 miles, CBR is about 1 mile. Pop is about 1.5 miles. Disney Springs is about 2-3 miles. OKW and SSR are about 2 miles.

For me, I would not worry about Disney QS just to head back to WBC pools. The pool bar food is actually very good and in line with any resort pricing. That assumes you do not want a specific QS meal.

Is there a pool bar with food at the resort pool?
Yes, one of the pools has pizza and salads and at another pool they offer burgers, nachos, sandwiches, hotdogs. I don't remember the prices or the hours.

Are you saying that you are staying at the hotel or condos?

The hotel sits in between the cobdo towers 6 and 3 and there are plenty places to eat within the WBC resort

However if you want to visit DS or check out some Disney hotels and eat at quick service spots you are in the Disney bubble and close to many Disney hotels. We ubered over to the Boardwalk on our last day for lunch and to walk around snd se BWI, BC and YC 5 minutes away. We also ubered to Poly and another time to GF maybe 15 minute uber rides

I went to dig this up for general information from elsewhere. This should give an idea. In my opinion, the food was at worst as good as Disney QS.

La Cocina Pizzaeria is in tower 3 condo next to the pool which sits to left of the hotel if you are facing the lake. You can either eat there or take away. Pizza and chicken Caesar salads are good while you wait you can get an adult drink at the bar.

Backbay pool bar at your hotel was nice with tables overlooking kake and the hotel pool we had drinks there but no food

Deep Blu had great food but very pricey

Tesori Cove was a buffet at the hotel, on the website it said it stopped serving breakfast at 11 but when we went over at 9:55 they had closed breakfast and weren't yet serving lunch

so we Ubered to the Grand Floridian Cafe at GF so it worked out for me!

Great, thanks. Staying at the hotel so it looks like Backbay pool bar is the one we'd use most. I'll try to find more info.

You are not forced to only be at the Back Bay pool bar. From the hotel to the front lobby is only a 5 minute walk. It is even a pleasant walk. They have music pumped throughout the walk way. It is not overbearing. The grounds are immaculate and themed well. After spending 5 nights in our general vicinity of Bldg 4, I realized everything we were missing out on. I know my daughter is going to love playing shuffleboard while I am grilling dinners.

Agreed it's a lovely walk around the small lake. On our first day i wanted to get the pool towels from tower six and took libg way around to check everything out.

It woukd be really easy to just stay at your tower but its so worth a full look see since there is so much the complex offers.

Plus its not a long walk like you said very enjoyable.

I only mentioned those couple places to eat because those are the ones we experienced
