Bonjour

I need to tell my french teacher about this thread. I knew enough to say my name, and read most of whats going on, but I'm not good enough to correctly respond to it.

Gasp. I need to study more.

well I'm taking french one. Honestly, I was doing good to be able to tell you my name. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Yes, I'll get one of those tapes you listen to in your sleep and you wake up knowing everything.

Yeah and you wake up saying stuff like, "Je suis intelligent. Think jah sew-we intell-ee-ge-aunt. Again, Je suis intelligent. This translates to be I am intelligent. Repeat after me in French. Je suis intelligent. Lesson 2..." Then your alarm goes off like during the middle of lesson 5 and you're like wth? "je veux" what!!!??? What do I want!? And then you smash the little cassette thing out of pure frustration because you couldn't graduate to lesson 6. lol.

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Andrew. J'ai quinze ans. Je prends Francais 2 au lycee. (Yes, I know the accents are missing! I have no idea how to do them on the computer.) Last year, my teacher was a native speaker, and the mother of a student in my grade. I am now a junior in French II. I can't make out the high level French that got posted though. ;)

BTW:
To do the accents you use ALT codes.

é - ALT 130
à - ALT 133
ê - ALT 136
è - ALT 138
ô - ALT 147
ç - ALT 135

je fais l'equitation. j'adore l'equitation(i know my spelling isnt up to scratch!!!)

ack.
it's:
soeur.

sorry, it's just when you misspell soeur, it looks like you meant to spell 'sueur' which is sweat.

Lol, I knew what she meant too.

I love it though when people make mistakes like that or can't think of the word in french & say :

Uhh, je suis allée player des au quis (sp?).

Whatever you do, don't ever say 'Je suis fini'
it means your dead.

That was one of the first things I learned in grade 1.
Well, actually the first thing was:
Est-ce que je peux aller aux toilettes?

ehehehe. To them, it was the most important thing for a bunch of little kids.
