Anyone use or tried this?

I used the adult version on our last trip, mostly to calm my "flying angst!" I saw an ad recently for Bonine and they showed a kid's version as well. I'm curious about it, since my DS8 seems to get car sick more often than he used to. We're flying to Disney in Sept. and while we had no problems 2 years ago, this car-sick thing is new and I'm concerned about the flight (can't just pull over, y'know?!!).

Anyway, he's mild compared to some people but I'm just wondering if we should give this a go (try before the trip, of course).

I'm always nervous about giving my daughter OTC medications. I would try ginger pills (or better yet, fresh ginger) first. Its just as effective, but without the risk of side effects.

We too have used Bonine for Kids with great results! My older DS, when he was about 8, went through a period of motion sickness in the car. We tried different herbal remedies and none helped. We decided to try Bonine and he had no problems other than it made him sleepy - but since we were in the car for several hours - that was fine.

When I took my niece 8 to WDW I asked a pharmacist what to pick up for motion sickness for her. She suggested Children's Bodine for the plane and then the sea bands (wrist bands) for the parks. Both worked great. She even did well on Soarin.:)
