Bongos Cuban Cafe and DDP

Hey guys,
Going down in the summer and wife wants to go to Bongos Cafe for dinner. Can we use the disney dining plan on any entre??? Even the $45 seafood platter? Also, the reviews seem to be all over the place for Bongos. What are peoples thoughts on this restaurant? Thanks in advance for the help.
