Bongo's Closing?

I've read in a couple of places now that Bongo's in DS is closing this summer. Is it true? We have a reservation there on October 1st... surely they would tell us? Or would they?

Yes, it’s been confirmed by Gloria Estefan herself. I would think they’d reach out to you but who knows. I’d start thinking through alternatives. Most spots in Disney Springs accept reservations via Open Table if you wanted to hedge your bets and hang on to your Bongo’s reservation just in case things change... but it’s not looking good.

There has been a rumor that they are looking at other locations in the Orlando area - that may be why you haven't heard yet. ( I'm sad they are leaving DS - I've been past it 100's of time but just experienced it last year and it was fabulous )
