Hi,
My DW and I have ressies for POFQ for late February. Under the site for POFQ here on The DIS I found the following:
The newly renovated Bonfamille's Cafe is the sit down restaurant here, and it is a casual courtyard restaurant reminiscent of the Old French Quarter.
Is Bonfamille's open again?

Also, is there entertainment at Scat Cat's Lounge? We had heard of a piano player who got great reviews here on The DIS but we don't know if he is still performing.

Thanks for any info and any other POFQ tidbits.

Nope, about Bonfamille's. At least it wasn't there two weeks ago when we went. And as for the piano player, I don't know of anything, at least we did not see any one. There is a little stage there, though. They did have a player piano going one day. Also, I do know that there is live entertainment, just up river at POR.

We really enjoyed the resort. It's small in size, the grounds are very pretty, peaceful, and clean. Our room was in great shape as well. It looked like it was recently renovated. Also, the CMs were very friendly!

Did you reserve a king bed room? If not, I highly recommend it!

When we went in June, 2001 there was a live performer-played sax jazz, I think it was Wednesday thru Sunday eves. But when we went back in June, 2002, he had left since POFQ had been closed. CMs told me they were hoping he'd be back though. His name was Eliot Dyson, also played at Universal. The piano player you're thinking of is probably the one at POR.
