We have a new restaurant opening up near us called the Bonefish Grill near us. It is a chain that I have never heard of....any reviews from any DISers????

We have one locally that opened last year. I've heard mixed reviews about it but the review I'm getting most often is it's overpriced food for a more yuppy type crowd.

I've not been, so I can not confirm nor deny that opinion though :) Let me know if you go and how it was.....we just don't go to it since it's about 30 minutes away.

You must live near Deptford!

My daughter was hoping for an Outback. I heard the old Ground Round was going to be a Hooters.

It'll be nice to have some new resturants.

We have one near where DH works. He suggested the other day that we try it as some guys from work had been there and were talking about how good it was. We haven't been there yet, but maybe sometime this week. Will let you know if we get there soon.

One of these has recently opened in our area but we haven't gone there so I can't offer any reviews. Maybe it's just me but that name - Bonefish Grill - doesn't seem very enticing... :scratchin

We went once several years ago and hated it. Especially the approach to service. Constant and very distracting movement and hovering. We have heard from others this is SOP. Food wasn't too good either.

The one on Hilton Head Island is very good. It is part of the Outback chain.

We have one here, and it's one of my most favorite restaurants. I think the food is awesome!! The Macadamia Mahi-Mahi is my favorite!!! We go often, and I have always been very pleased. We haven't found the service to be overbearing at all.

OH! And the Bang Bang Shrimp is scrumptious!!

 HMM!! I'm thinking I may not cook tonight, after all

I agree that the name leaves something to be desired. Wouldn't you like to have been at that brainstorming session?

"Let's see...what's the most negative thing about fish--we'll definitely want to incorporate THAT into the name of the restaurant." What was their other choice--"This tastes fishy"? Sheesh. :crazy2:

We have one near us. The coconut shrimp appetizer is the best that I have ever had. The prices were in the reasonable range for a nice evening out. As far as the fish entrees, I would strongly suggest asking for the choice of sauce on the side. They have about five different choices of sauces and you can also choice how your fish is prepared, like grilled, or blackened. My fish (salmon) was good, but the sauce smothered the fish, so I would just suggest having it come on the side. :)

Thanks, I needed that laugh today!

OMG ~ I just went on their website & the photo's of the food were making me drool!!! I need to try this place & lucky for us, one opened up less than a mile from our house!! :hyper:

We have one near us and think it is very good. It is owned by the same company that owns Outback, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and also Carabbas Grill also. I didn't think it was overpriced at all. We really enjoy it there.

LOL...actually, yes. We live in West Deptford Township....and I was driving by the mall the other day and saw the "coming soon" sign.

We just tried Bonefish Grill last weekend and we LOVED it!

The bang bang shrimp appetizer was awesome, as well as the ahi tuna with the pan Asian sauce. YUMMY!!

And their red wine sangria was pretty good too!

Price is all in the pocket book of the beholder :) Is it more or less expensive than say Outback or RedLobster?

Have you looked at their websites? You can compare prices there. If I remember correctly it was on par with Outback.
