Bon Voyage and RD HS?

We didn’t make it to Bon Voyage breakfast when we were conveniently located at the Yacht Club.

Trying to choose a day for it in September. Would I be able to RD Hollywood Studios if I had a reservation right at 7:30? I was planning on walking to the park.

For a 9am park opening?

No. You need to allow at least 90 mins for a TS meal.

You need to allow Transportation time to get to the park. Bag check, security, ticketing, etc..

I would plan to arrive 8am to 8:15 at the park. They usually open early at 8:45. Arriving early will place you in front of the crowd when they actually do open.

I knew I wouldn’t make it to be front of the line. But I might plan to do Bon Voyage at 7:30 and arrive at DHS around 9:30-10. It normally takes me an hour for TS when going solo, but I’ll allow for a full 90.

It’ll be my second visit to DHS that trip, so I hopefully won’t have too much left to accomplish. And I’ll be armed with FP!

With a 7:30 ADR, you should be seated right away. Ask to be seated at a table at the back of the restaurant, opposite the door near the podium where you check in. The characters seem to parade through the restaurant and then visit tables starting at that end of the room working their way back to the entrance. With reasonable service, you will probably be out in an hour or so. The breakfast breads and fruit are served quickly and you select an entree from the menu, so its not like you’re up and down visiting the buffet between character visits.
