Boma's breakfast

Hi,
Is boma's breakfast spicy? A friend went and she said the eggs were spicy, and was just wondering how they were.

We had breakfast here in the fall of 2007 & 2008 and I remember the eggs at Boma as just scrambled eggs, no spices at all.

We've eaten at Boma quite a few times for b'fast and dinner. They have regular b'fast items, plus some African items. I ordered an omelet. DH ate the scrambled eggs...he does not do spicy. The scrambled eggs were normal.

Do try the Frunch (it's a fruit juice). It is awesome.

I don't remember any special seasonings in the eggs, spicy or otherwise. They were just plain scrambled eggs.

Maybe your friend had a spiced item that mixed with her eggs on the plate? Stuff tends to get a little jumbled on buffet plates.

My breakfast at Boma was the best I've ever had, anywhere.

No it isnt, Boma breakfast is incredible! The only thing that had a spice to it and it wasnt a hot spice more like a sausage spice was the biscuit casserole thing. If you click on my Oct link I have a ton of pics of the food.

Thanks for all the input. I think my friend probably took something else and it mixed like poster Lynne said before. The breakfast looks really good, and it's a place I've been wanting to try.

Just ate there last Sunday, awesome, awesome meal. The scrambled eggs are just that. There was also a ready made cheese omlette on the pod and personal omelettes are also made fresh.

There is another bar/pod area that had pap (like grits), a salsa and some really tasty roasted tomatoes. The salsa was a little spicy, but a nice touch for me. The roasted tomatoes were simple, cut in half, sprinkled with spices and roasted, those and the french toast were my favorite items on the buffet.

Hope you go. Its also a nice price at $18 with tax.

Boma is my favorite breakfast ever... anywhere. I love that place. I don't recall having a spicy egg dish there but I always order an over-medium at the egg/omelet counter so I don't know anything about the regular scrambled eggs that are on the buffet. I love spicy stuff though, so what someone else thinks is spicy I might think is bland! I don't think I've ever had anything that I'd call spicy at Boma for breakfast or dinner though...
