this coming up trip in sept is our first time eating at bomas for dinner, i hope we like it...:thumbsup2 what are the desserts like? also what are some of your favorite dishes to try? thanks so much :)

dessert equals two words Zebra Domes!

I enjoyed the food everything is marked so you know what you're getting as you selcect it off the buffet. if things are too exotic there is alwaysd prime rib at the carving station.

My family loves the salmon they serve at Boma. It is next to the carving station. The desserts are good. We really like zebra domes also. They have really good carrot and ginger soup. I know.... Sounds weird but yummy, however they didn't have it in June when we just ate there. It's different which is why we like it. Other buffets tend to serve the same types of things over and over.

For us the whole meal including the meats tasted like dessert.

We were so excited to try Boma out, as it gets such good reviews. But it was NOT for us.

Cinnamon, vanilla and fruit flavors are used in ALL the dishes. The meats were rubbed with cinnamon, the side dishes such as potatoes were sweet in nature, as well as the soups.

By the time we got to dessert we didn't eat much as we were done with sweet. So I couldn't really reply on the desserts.

I love the couscous, the grilled vegetables, they have a sweet potato dish (can't remember what it's called), the chicken is great, the salmon dish is good, the salads, the soups....I can go on and on and on! For me, the zebra domes are the best part of dessert, but they have many different pastries, fruits, cookies, bread puddings, etc.
