Boma without ADR?

We're visiting for the 1st 3 weeks in August and have various ADRs (including 1 at Boma) during our 1st week when we're staying on-site. The 2nd & 3rd weeks we're offsite and want to be more flexible. However, the more I read about Boma the more I think we may want to visit again. How likely do think it is that I'll be able to fix up another ressie when we're there during the first week in August for a week or 2 later. We'll be flexible on dates and like to eat a bit later :teeth: I'm in the UK so can't call toll-free :confused3

I just got an early ressie for Jul 27 but that is before the free dining I think. She had quite a few times open also. I dont know how crowded it can get this is our first trip in the summer. Good luck.

We've gone four times and had ADR's and still waited for a table to open dinner seems pretty busy.

It's sooooooo much easier with an ADR, and so worth it. I couldn't believe the number of irate people trying to get into Boma, the last time I was there. Some had no ADR and were upset that no tables were available; some showed up late for their ADR and were stunned when told that they too would have to wait. And wait. And wait. Keep in mind, the ADRs fill up fast because it's really a great restaurant.

disney should keep like 5% to 10% of tables for walk ins

Why?

There is no need to punish the people who actually want to plan ahead.

I actually agree with this. Since that would still leave 90 to 95% of the restaraunt for preplanners it would give people who don't like to plan or don't know to plan a chance to eat at various restaraunts as well.

As for the actual question, we are eating at Boma our first night, if we enjoy it I will try to get a second ADR for our Friday night meal as well, hoping that they have something avaliable, since we tend to eat late and there are only two of us, I am fairly hopefully about this. It might be harder for larger parties who like to eat at a more conventional time though. I figure even if you call the morning of you have a better chance of getting an ADR then just showing up.
