Boma vs Jiko

We are planning at eating at Boma on our next trip but we are not sure if we should eat at Jiko instead. We have never eaten at either and there will be 8 kids and 4 adults.

I would recommend Boma over Jiko. Jiko has lovely food however Boma has a more relaxed atmosphere and a wider selection. I also think the kids would enjoy Boma more than Jiko.

Actually, try Boma first to get an idea of the selection and flavors as it is a buffet. Then if you like, do JIKO.

We're hooked and doing both our next trip !!!!!!!!!!!

My DH & I love Jiko's - alone! It is so nice to drop kids at kid's club and then go off to really great dining experience. We have eaten at Jiko with the kids also - they did fine and enjoyed it, but they also prefer having their own time too. I would vote for Jikos for the adults and kids go to Simba's den. (I think that is the name of kids clud at AKL).

With eight kids, i would suggest Boma over Jiko, just because I think chances are they would find something they like more and Boma then Jiko, unless that is, if they willing to try anything
