Boma Questions

I would like to eat at Boma, never having seen anything at AKL at all.

A couple of questions.......

Since we won't be there on a park day, can I wander around the resort a bit?

Will we be able to find a place to watch for the animals....is there are a bar, or are to do this?

ANy suggestions on anything else to do while we're there?

Yes. We often wander around a bit before or after our meal at Boma's. We've tried both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both very much.

Will we be able to find a place to watch for the animals....is there are a bar, or are to do this?

Yes, there are areas to watch the animals (although there is no guarantee that any will be in the immediate area at the time you are there). There is a large area for viewing at the back of the resort. Walk through the lobby and down the stairs to get there. If you are there in the evening, you can sit in rocking chairs around a campfire. Believe they have a story teller there at certain times.

There is also a balcony (at the back of the resort to your left as you walk from the main entrance to the animal viewing area), that gives you a view of one of the resort savannahs.

Do take some time to explore the huge lobby area - lots of African art and interesting seating areas. We enjoy the large gift shop as well - it's to your immediate right after you enter the main entrance.
