Boma or Tusker House?

Which would you choose? We currently have a reservation at Boma, but we are thinking of switching.

While Tusker is one of the best character breakfasts...from a food perspective, I'd go with Boma.

Boma was a fun experience and the food was ok. We are glad we tried it, now we will try something else. I don't think we will go back to Boma though.

We did Tusker House for breakfast and we liked it alot. Great character interaction and the breakfast was nice. Typical breakfast food.

I loved Boma a few years ago, but we were really disappointed during our May trip b/c the food has become too toned-down & less flavorful. (One of my favorite things from my 2008 trip, the curried pasta salad, didn't even taste like curry. ) I still loved their hummus trio & desserts (some of the best on Disney property!), but the food just didn't have the same great ethnic flavor. I tried Tusker House duriing the same trip & loved it- plus they offer a lunch buffet for much less than Boma's dinner buffet. Tusker House had an awesome chicken masala w/ veggie samosas. The carving tables, side items, & salad/hummus/tabouli sections were also great, & the desserts were very tasty.

we've done Boma,it's a tradition(can't miss!) but we're also trying Tusker for dinner this time too,as it's well reviewed

The layout of the buffet line is better at Tusker, but that's about it. The food and service are far better at Boma - and you're at the AKL looking out on the savannah. Tusker is in the AK, but I don't think it has any windows. At least not with a view of any kind.

Where were you able to see the savannah? Like most, that's one of our fave things about AKL, but I thought it was in a completely different part of the resort. When we've gone to Boma for breakfast or dinner, we were only able to see the pool area from our table(s). I know you can see the savannah pretty well from Sanaa.

I checked the resort map and you are right. Sorry, I was confused about what direction we were facing. So at Boma we were looking at a landscaped green space that heads toward the pool area. Still better than Tusker IMO, but not a savannah view.

For breakfast, I would choose Boma. The food and service is much better. The Tusker House is more fun.
