Boma or The Wave Buffet (Breakfast)

haven't done the wave, but we did Boma breakfast last trip on our fly out day and were super happy. I went back for 3rds. Love all teh different options. The carving station was a nice extra and jungle juice is great.

I would uber it to AKL then you can just take the bus to the theme park, or uber if you like.

Trails end is one I've definitely considered too.

Another option I've heard people rave about in reviews is doing brunch at the Grand Floridan, its on the monorail. I'm picturing the Chicken and Waffles being super yummy

I love the Wave breakfast buffet. Delicious food, it’s very peaceful and zen, a nice break before the insanity of the parks.

That's right...I forgot about that juice until you mentioned it.
Lol....funny....but not surprising to have gone back for 3rds.

Good to know that there is a bus that runs from Animal Kingdom Lodge. That would save us $ than taking an uber after breakfast.

Thanks for the other two suggestions as well. Trails End has been mentioned a few times.
And brunch is another option for a break...as it will be hot when we go.

Does the wave buffet end fairly promptly at 11? Do they start taking food away. If we’re trying to make it an early lunch what is the latest adr you can/should make?

They're both good although different. The Wave is more traditional fare (although Boma has some of that too) but done well. I particularly liked their eggs and yoghurt parfaits. You can also order off the menu if you prefer so that gives you other options. It can be a bit more convenient depending on where you are staying. We love Boma but we are keeping The Wave on the list as well.
