Boma or Ohanas

With the age of your kids I would think Ohana would be the better choice. Boma is outstanding but at Ohana they get the kids involved with the coconut races etc. The food at Ohana is hit or miss according to the reviews on the boards but we really enjoyed it alot.

I have been to Boma with kids and they loved it. All in all I think that the food is better. And before or after dinner, you can take the kids out to look at the Savanna.

For my DD6,Ohana is a must do! We all love the hula dancing, limbo parade, etc.I told my husband today"I wish the caramel sauce for the bread pudding came in gallon jugs!!!" We also make our seating for about 8:00 and
around the time the desert arrives the wishes fireworks show comes on.Maybe that's why the desert tastes so good.:lovestruc But seriously, for us it has always been a tasty and ,magical experience!

I would definately say Ohana, without a doubt. The food at Boma is too extreme and weird. DH and I went to Boma and didn't like anything, plus we could hardly tell what anything was. We go to Ohana on every trip - there is something for everyone plus there are activities for the kids. Don't forget to view Wishes from the restaurant or beach also.

BOMA!!! yea sure, they have coconut races at ohana's, but there are animals at Animal kingdom resort. If you go early to see the animals, then as you are eating, wait for the sun to go down, then you can go and see the animals through night vision googles! They also have a story teller at the firepit outside nightly to teach some African folklore. It has the best side stuff there is! BOMA ROCKS!

:thumbsup2

Definitely Boma. The food is much better, and there are plenty of things for kids on the buffet that they won't find "weird" or "extreme". It's actually not as exotic as some people seem to think. Besides, the resort is an attraction in itself.

Just my personal opinion, but I would choose 'Ohanas. We were at Boma during our June trip and then again a few days ago. We were die-hard Boma fans, but these past two trips have been pretty disappointing. We ate at 'Ohanas for the first time four days ago, and I have to say we all loved it! DD6 loved the entertainment, and so did DS2. We all loved the food. You can get traditional kids food on the side (mac n cheese, chicken fingers, etc.) and they can also try all the family style food that comes to the table. Plus, there is no way you can leave hungry!
