I am planning a trip in July with my younger sister. We are both highly allergic to peanuts/all nut products and as a result we are not ones to try new foods or cuisines. However, I have heard such rave reviews about both Jiko and Boma that I want to try them, at least just for the atmosphere.

Which would you reccomend and for which meal? Is the breakfast standard American breakfast food? That would probaly be our best bet. Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

I can only comment on Jiko's since I cannot in any way shape or form convince DD to even look at Boma's!

We both love the place! The food is out of this world and they will bend over backwards for people with allergies!

Try sitting up at the Cooking Place itself!

Saying all this as drooling all over my keyboard!

I've eaten at both numerous times and I love both!
The breakfast at Boma's was simply the best buffet I've ever had in my life. My husband is somewhat picky and loved this buffet.
The dinner is a little more adventurous but if you inform them of any allergies they will definetly go out of their way to help you select options. I'm not a huge fan of curry which most dishes are made of but I found the staff very kind and knowledgable and advised me of which to avoid.
Jiko's is simply one of my favourite restaurants for dinner. The fillet mignon with mac & cheese (sounds weird but isn't) is to die for! Once again, they are very accomodating. Just ask.

Check out all the menus at www.wdwig.com

Hope this helps.

Call ahead and talk to the chef if they will let you, and talk to the chef the night you are there. I have never heard anything but reports that they will cook things special for you if they need to, and willl definately point you in the direction of foods that fit your dietary needs if that applies. Definately don't pass on eating at Boma b/c of your allergy, just inquire. it is the best restaurant at WDW!!!
