I have been on the fence about Boma for months now, and we're leaving tomorrow. I thought I had talked myself out of it, but now, like a dork, I'm changing my mind. ;)

Tell me what a not-so-adventurous eater would think about the food there. I've heard such great things about it, but I am a VERY traditional eater. Will I find something I like? :)

Rest assured you WILL find alot of things on the buffet that you will like. I love that place, but my kids are picky (as kids tend to be!!) and all 3 very much enjoyed their dinners. Dont worry, Disney is not going put out a spread of &*%$#..lol fill in the explitives yourself :goodvibes

:rotfl: I love this review. :rotfl2:

If you're worried about the food, you can call in advance and request special dining (kosher, gluten free, no dairy..) and the chef will visit your table, and cook for you what you like. That was my experience-I did not make up an allergy, I have one, but it made it the best experience at Disney for me, because he asked me what I liked, then made it. He also pointed out what was ok for me to eat on the buffet. Any CM can describe exactly what the items are on the buffet, and what they're made of. I'd advise you to be brave and try a few though-you may find a new favorite! OK, maybe you shouldn't make up an allergy, but the chef there is really eager to please, and if you request to talk with him, he will visit your table. Don't be in a hurry though-it does take extra time. :wizard:

I am a nonadventuous eater and found lots of good stuff to eat here. You will enjoy it. Just get little bits of everything to start and go back for what you really enjoyed. And if you don't find anything you like, you can always eat off the kids buffet. ;)
Make sure you save room for dessert. There were lots of goodies to try.

Hope you enjoy yourself on your trip!

Im going for breakfast in Aug and cant wait! I have heard so many good things about it..

My DD loves the prime rib, it has a nice but not overwhelming flavor to it. What I love about this restaurant is that I can be adventurous but if I find something I don't like I can just try something new. Besides I would almost pay the price to have unlimited access to the zebra domes! :rotfl:

We loved Boma and we're not really adventureous eaters! They rotate the soups but make sure to try the Coconut Chicken Curry Stew if they have it. It's the best! I could have eaten only that and been happy! There is a wide variety of things to try. My wife tried just a very little bit of each thing and filled her plate. Then she went back for seconds on the things that she liked. There are enough "safe" foods though if you don't like any of the other.

Also, I second the Zebra Domes! They are awesome! make sure to save room! I left this restaurant more stuffed than anywhere else that we ate at WDW.

My whole family loves Boma (both breakfast and dinner). The food is great for those who like something different and for those who are picky.
