Boma for people who do NOT like spicy food?

I guess so, I've never eaten that, but it looks similar, IIRC. Pap just didn't have any taste at all, and had the consistency of spackle.

Sounds like couscouis to me! I know some people love it and maybe when I ate it ,it was just not prepared right!! Now Hummus prepared right is yummy!!

I don't know what day of the week you ate there, but I didn't even remotely notice that at both our dinners. I was even looking for it, as I'd read it in a review or two before we went. Of course, I didn't eat any meat, but I tried everything that was vegetarian except the salad and some desserts. DH (the omnivore) didn't notice either. In fact, I found the food to be quite varied in flavor, and most recent reviews don't mention everything having the same spice. It seems very strange that some think this is so; even the recipes listed out there on various sites (and Boma has tons out there) don't show similar flavors used in most dishes.

Since you didn't join us for dinner, I'm confused about your attempt to disprove our experience. :confused3 We tried Boma, we had the experience we did (and I have read posts about others who noticed the same thing), and we didn't enjoy it. Boma wasn't terrible, it just wasn't for us. I love exotic foods, and I think Boma was a bit disappointing in that respect. I've enjoyed some wonderful African foods here in L.A. which have been much better prepared than Boma's. There are plenty of other restaurants at WDW we enjoy more. We won't bother returning to Boma, so that will make more room for the Boma lovers out there. :goodvibes
