Boma Breakfast Reservations?

Is Boma at limited capacity or is it just hard to get a reservation for?

Were still not in our official booking window, but was just checking for what was available on day that opened today, which was Novemeber 5, but I dont see any Boma breakfast options and I looked back for a full week. While I know this doesn't really affect me yet, just makes me wonder are we going to be able to get reservations for our time starting Nov 17th. Boma is our favorite breakfast and we have been going for years every time we return. To the point where waiters and waitresses remember us and come over and chat.

So just was seeing how people did when they tried for breakfast reservations.

We wanted a reservation for breakfast at Boma on the day we leave which is 9/25. Could not get anything so I set up an alert on ****************. Finally got an alert last week for an 8:35 am opening on 9/25 and I was able to grab that. I've had a few more alerts come in for openings so you may want to try setting up an alert.

I booked a breakfast ADR at Boma for November 14 this morning. Lots of times available.

Same!! I have been slow to find an adr for Oct 6, and yes, I should have thought to do this earlier, since I’ve made loads of 12:01 am reservations in the past. But I’ve been checking every day for last minute cancellations coming available and there are so few. I do wonder if they are spacing tables waaaay apart and just seating free people.

From what I saw from several food bloggers is that they are spacing the tables for now at least. I was able to get reservations twice for our trip in Oct but I haven’t had much luck adjusting the times. Definitely keep checking though or set up a watch because some spots do show up from time to time.

I was able to snag one for my trip last week. I continued to check the app hoping to change my time, but never could. When I got there however the place seemed pretty empty so they are for sure limiting capacity.

Keep trying because it's now my favorite all you care to eat breakfast at Disney.

Pre-Covid, I had good luck getting a reservation by asking at the stand a night or two beforehand when I was staying at AKL. Did this on 2 separate occasions. Perhaps they're seating people farther apart, so reduced capacity?

@bsmcneil Did you have any luck checking with the stand? I have had a search ongoing with Mouse Dining for breakfast November 7th but haven't had any luck yet. Staying at AKL for Wine & Dine weekend, so trying to do breakfast there after the half.

I did! I didn't get the chance to ask the night before. Checked on Saturday AM and still no openings on the app/website. So, I went downstairs and asked. At first (around 10), I was told, "We're not taking walk-ups. We will have walk-up availability at 10:30." So, I was a little confused and the CM was new. I waited around and at about 10:15, I asked the same person to clarify (which I had tried to earlier) - would 10:30 be when we found out if there would be availability or was that the next available walk-up option (in part, I wanted to know because that was sort of the last moment I'd have to try to get breakfast somewhere else and I really wanted that). I still didn't quite understand because I went back to my seat and the person came over and say, "Well, we need your name and number so we can seat you." So, that's what we did and at 10:35, I was seated. It still was super confusing to me and I can't quite tell if they had actual availability or if I just annoyed the person and they didn't want to deal with an annoying customer (which was not my intention at all - but I can see how it might feel that way).

A related, yet slightly unrelated question: has anyone who's dined since it's reopened noticed if you can get a bloody mary or a mimosa with Boma breakfast? I know it used to be available, just not sure if it still is an option at breakfast. The online menu does not indicate if it's an option. Thanks!
